About The Inventor
Born and raised in Southern California, Ballet Pointe Revolution inventor Sandra Blunkall attended St. Monica’s Catholic high school in Santa Monica. She then proceeded to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University with a Major in Liberal Arts for Education and a Minor in Psychology.
Since 2009, Ms. Blunkall and her family have been living in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where her husband, David, grew up. The Blunkall’s enjoy raising their two kids, Nathan and Jessica, being active in their church, the Salvation Army and various philanthropic/community organizations.
Ms. Blunkall has been a full-time realtor for 6 years. However, she always wanted to create or invent something that would help people. When she saw her friend’s daughter struggling with some aspects of the conventional ballet pointe shoes, she took the initiative to find a solution. So, over the past three years she has also devoted considerable time to the conception, patent protection, product development/prototyping and promotion of the highly innovative Ballet Pointe Revolution line of ballet shoes.
